Environmental Protection Awareness Marathon – Coimbatore, July 27

Date: July 27 Venue: National Model Senior Secondary School, Coimbatore

On behalf of National Model School, an Environmental Protection Awareness Marathon was successfully organized this morning (July 27) as part of the 20th Anniversary Celebration of the National Model Senior Secondary School.

The event was presided over by Dr. Mohan Chandar, Administrative Director, and Mrs. Uma Mohan, Secretary of the school.

Special Guest:Mr. Krishnamoorthy, Coimbatore Additional Superintendent of Police, flagged off the marathon.

Over 500 participants, including school students, alumni, parents, and members of the public, enthusiastically joined the run.

The event was graced by Principal Dr. Geetha Laxman and Vice-Principal Lavanya, who honored the initiative and emphasized the importance of environmental awareness.

To promote green values:

• Tree saplings and seedballs were distributed to all participants.
