IIT Madras Exposure Visit for Grade XII JEE Aspirants

The Grade XII JEE aspirants of National Model Senior Secondary School (CBSE) had the privilege of participating in an enriching academic exposure visit to Indian Institute of Technology Madras on 10 June 2026.

The students were warmly welcomed by Dr. C. Balaji, Head of the Department of Mechanical Engineering. They also attended insightful sessions conducted by Mr. Manoj Myneni and Dr. Regulagadda Kartik, who shared valuable perspectives on engineering education, research opportunities, innovation, and career pathways in higher education.

As part of the visit, students explored several state-of-the-art facilities, including the Mechanical Design Laboratory, the R2D2 – TTK Center for Rehabilitation Research and Device Development, and the Thermal Engineering & Refrigeration Laboratories. These interactions provided students with first-hand exposure to cutting-edge technology, advanced research infrastructure, and real-world engineering applications.

The visit served as an inspiring learning experience, motivating students to pursue excellence in science, technology, and innovation while gaining a deeper understanding of the opportunities available at premier institutions such as IIT Madras.

The delegation was accompanied by our Headmistress, Dr. Geetha Laxman, and Mr. Syed M, who guided and supported the students throughout the visit.
